How it works
One layer between the customer, the adviser and the forms
C2C doesn't just collect reports. It checks them against each other and against the customer, then fills whichever form the firm uses.
- Start from the hub. Affordability starts once the hub has each person's credit report and Open Banking (several banks). That is all it needs, and the case opens with both.
- Open Banking aggregate. Accounts connected twice are merged, overlapping feeds de-duplicated, transfers between the customer's own accounts paired, and every transaction placed on a budget planner line. RULES · ACCOUNTSCORE MAP · MERCHANT MEMORY · TRAINED MODEL
- C2C Data Pack. Every party's credit report and banking in one file. Residential and commercial use the same model; a commercial case adds the company, and each director gets the same personal checks.
- Validate. What the customer entered is compared with both sources: income against pay into the bank, commitments against the credit report and the bank, spending against the bank. Differences are flagged.
- Source figures by default. The fact find is made with the reports' figures, not what the customer entered, and each one is on the audit trail. The customer isn't asked; the broker can keep the customer's figure instead, with a reason, and decides what has no figure to take. NO AI ON A CASE
- Fact find and budget planner. Populated and validated, on the lines of the C2C Mortgage Expenditure Form, with where each figure came from.
- Fill any template. The C2C form, or the firm's or lender's own PDF, Excel or form fields. AI proposes how a new template maps; a person approves it once, and from then on it fills every case. AI PROPOSES · PERSON APPROVES
- Back to the hub. The hub is told when the case opens, when the broker approves, and when a form or case report is ready. Each notice is signed and carries no personal data; the hub fetches the case with its own key.
Later, in the C2C hub. Affordability will sit in the hub alongside the other checks, which run on the same case but are not part of affordability:
- AML: internal, for the business. It needs no consent and nothing is sent out.
- ID check: sent to the customer, and may not be needed.
- HMRC: when it is added (see the HMRC demo). The service can already check income against PAYE and SA302 once the hub supplies them.
What's real in this demo: every figure, check and difference was produced by the affordability engine from fictional sample reports. Your clicks replay decisions in the browser, and the Excel and PDF files are filled in the browser from the same mapping files the service uses. What isn't: the reports are made up, nothing is sent anywhere, and the AI mapping answers are simulated for the demo.
